Route Challenge ratings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).


Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).


For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).


These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

A beautiful ride through the New Forest, helping to raise vital funds for Orchid Cancer Care.

There's a choice of four routes, all starting and finishing in Brockenhurst. Quiet roads and gentle hills make the shorter rides ideal for families.
Family-friendly Route - 17 miles - following forest tracks so nearly all traffic-free. NOT suitable for racing bikes.
