Ride gradings

Route Challenge ratings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).


Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).


For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).


These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

THIS IS A SPONSORED CHARITY RIDE. Your entry fee only covers the costs of running the ride so please ask family and friends to sponsor you generously to make a real difference. THANK YOU.

This ride has now passed.

Thanks to everyone who came along and took part in the very first Cambridge 100 / 50 bike ride on Sunday and for the very positive feedback we've had. Over 1100 riders took part on the day, we enjoyed excellent weather and a thoroughly good day was had by all. And hopefully you managed to raise plenty of money for your chosen charity!

Enjoy the spring sunshine with a brand new ride to start the 2013 season! Starting and finishing on the outskirts of Cambridge, the ride takes you north through Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and towards the Norfolk coast with a choice of 100 mile or 50 mile routes. There will be plenty of refreshment stops along the way making this an enjoyable day's cycling to raise money for the charity of your choice.

Getting There: CarFrom M11 jc. 14 follow A14 towards Cambridge and take first exit (jc. 32) onto B1049 towards Impington then Milton and look for our signs. All-day parking at college - fee: £3.00
Getting There: TrainCambridge station is approx 5 miles from the start - follow our signs. Check National Rail Enquiries 08457 48 49 50 for trains and bike carriage.
Start Times100 mile cyclists: between 7am and 8am at a time to suit you. 50 mile cyclists: between 8am and 9am at a time to suit you.

Other InfoMINIMUM AGE 14 YRS on 50 mile route and 16 YRS on 100 mile route. All riders under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult over 18yrs.

All riders are required to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day
