Starting and finishing at the elegant Elizabethan mansion of Glemham Hall, the route heads south through Rendlesham then north through Snape through pretty countryside and villages before reaching Covehithe and the sea at Dunwich. After open heathland we nearly reach Norfolk at Bungay before the run back to Glemham Hall where you'll be welcomed with refreshments and a medal.

The event will follow up to date Covid-safety guidance from the Government, British Cycling and Safety Advisory Groups.
Social distancing and other measures will be in place - full details will be emailed before the ride and updates can be seen on the Bike Events website

Riders who registered for the 2020 event will be automatically transferred to 2021. Please use your 2020 rider number on the 2021 ride - contact us if this has been lost

Minimum age 16. Road bike / hybrid recommended.

It is recommended that all riders wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.

Ride Gradings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

Getting here by car

Glemham Hall is north of Woodbridge, on the A12. Car-parking available on site costs £3.00 on the day.
On arrival, do not use the house entrance at the front, signs will direct you to drive on to site via Church Road at the back of the property.

Getting here by train

The nearest station is Wickham Market. Depending where you are coming from there are trains arriving within sufficient time to arrive at the start before 10am (the latest start time). Check National Rail Enquiries.
