BOOKINGS ARE NOW CLOSED. You can come to the start and register, between 7am and 8am, and pick up your pack.

On the day entry fee will be £25 on the 100 mile route, including timing chip (card payment accepted)

If you need to contact Bike Events staff during the ride this Sunday 30th April you can call us on 07724 554 198. This number will only be active between 07:00 and 18:00 this Sunday. We will give out Medical Emergency and Mechanics/Pick-up phone numbers at the Start line.

A mighty 100 mile ride through pretty villages and lush Spring countryside in Hertfordshire - a landscape of beautiful half-timbered cottages and colourful marketplaces. It’s a great way to welcome in the Spring!

Minimum age 16 on the 100 mile route. Road bike / hybrid recommended.
All riders are strongly recommended to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.

GPX routes are available after online booking.

Ride Gradings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

Getting here by car

Exit A1 at junction 4 (north / south bound) onto A414. Follow A6149 for Welwyn Garden City centre and look for our signs to the Start.
PLEASE NOTE: Parking at Stanborough costs £3.10 for the day. You will need the correct money as the machine does not give change! Text-payment possible.

Getting here by train
