Join us on Sunday for a fantastic 100 mile ride through Hertfordshire's Spring countryside- a landscape of beautiful half-timbered cottages and a few rolling hills. It’s a great way to get back to speed and welcome in the Spring!

PLEASE NOTE that due to current renovation work at Stanborough Park, toilet facilities are limited.

And PLEASE NOTE that the pay-parking machines at the park only take card or telephone payments.

The ride features the usual Bike Events support - signed route, GPX mapping, marshals, pick-up vehicles, refreshment stops, cycle mechanics and also chip-timing -results available on the day and then displayed online following the ride and official photographs.

Minimum age 16 on the 100 mile route. Road bike / hybrid recommended.
All riders are strongly recommended to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.

** We recommend that all riders have both bike and personal liability insurances as we cannot be held responsible for damage, loss or theft of your bike or personal items or personal liability.**

Ride Gradings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

Getting here by car

Exit A1 at junction 4 (north / south bound) onto A414. Follow A6149 for Welwyn Garden City centre and look for our signs to the Start.
PLEASE NOTE: Parking at Stanborough costs £5.00 for the day. NO CASH at machines, ONLY CARD OR BY PHONE!

Getting here by train
