A beautiful ride through the New Forest, helping to raise vital funds for Orchid Cancer Care.

There's a choice of three routes, all starting and finishing in Brockenhurst. Quiet roads and gentle hills make the shorter rides ideal for families.
Short Route - 18 miles - following forest tracks so nearly all traffic-free. NOT suitable for racing bikes.

Medium route - 28 miles - a gentle route through the woods to Boldrewood and Lyndhurst, then across open heathland to Beaulieu.(all this route is on-road)

Long route - 48 miles - through open heathland, woodland and rhododendrons to Linwood and the attractive Avon Valley before turning back through Bolderwood to Beaulieu on the return route. (all this route is on-road)

PLEASE NOTE. The short route is predominantly on forest tracks consisting of a compacted gravel surface. WE THEREFORE RECOMMEND TYRES THAT ARE 1.5" WIDE OR MORE - you can find out if yours are by checking the sidewall of your tyre. By using a larger tyre you reduce the risk of punctures and increase the comfort of your ride.

Please note that all ride details are subject to confirmation.

By taking part in this ride, you'll be helping us draw attention to male cancers, as well as raising vital funds to help us continue our work.
Orchid was the first charity set up to fund research into the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of prostate, penile and testicular cancer. We promote awareness and education about these previously neglected, life-threatening diseases.
So please get as many sponsors as you can. You can also set-up an online fundraising page at www.bmycharity.com/orchid
