From the East End to Southend!

Starting from Lee Valley VeloPark in Queen Elizabeth Park on the new date of Sunday September12th, we're soon out of town and onto quieter, country roads. Essex will surprise you with its picturesque villages and quiet lanes, winding through gently rolling countryside. After stops along the way, with lunch by Mountnessing windmill, we reach the Finish in the pretty gardens of Priory Park, Southend with music, refreshments, beer tent and a well-earned medal!

Southend Victoria railway station is close by with trains every 20 minutes back to London in the afternoon - bikes go free!
Two special Bike Events charter trains will run in the MORNING - see below for train info and times. Morning trains run from Shoeburyness through Southend Central station to West Ham (nearest station to the Start) on the day. Afternoon trains also run to Fenchurch St. from Southend Central station

"Thank you do much for a fantastic day, the day went so well & the organisation was spot on. The route signs & marshals were perfect, would not hesitate to book further events." S. B.

"I completed the ride with my friend and raised £1170 for the charity !! If you're not sure if cycling is for you, give it a go, you have nothing to lose and so much to gain, my fitness level is so much better and I am looking a lot leaner. Once you have your bike, its a free hobby." L. W.
